The Alumni won the Culinary Challenge!
A small group of Alumni recently participated in the Culinary Challenge organised by the Student Council. This encounter set a group of students against the Alumni in the Berceau des Sens kitchens for one day.
That evening the dishes (amuse-bouche, entrée, main dish and dessert) made by each team were served to a jury anonymously – in fact to the whole BDS dining-room – made up of 90% students. Despite a defeat encountered over dessert, the Alumni team brought to a close a long series of uninterrupted student victories. Some rumours even speak of a ten-year reign without a single defeat for the students. The Alumni have already promised to come back to defend their title next year and the students are already furbishing their arms to recover their lost « honour ».
